Machboos is considered as the national dish of the country which is made from meat (fish, lamb, and chicken) and Basmati Rice cooked with rose water and saffron. Whereas, Dakkous is a curry that is made from tomatoes, black pepper, and garlic.
 

In Kuwait, khubz and hammus are generally bread and dip respectively. Khubz is made up of wheat flour and made as a traditional flatbread, whereas hammus is made from various items like mashed chickpeas with spices and olive oil.
 

One of the most common delicacies in the entire Middle East, which uses two types of meat, one is chicken and another is goat. These are sliced meat wraps that are mixed with several spices and favourite Kuwaiti turshi, which is made from pickled cucumber, turnip, and carrot.
